1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how YOLO WELLNESS LLC (“YOLO” or “we” or “us”) handles information we collect about you or other individuals when you visit this website, or any of our mobile applications or other web pages that link to this Policy (collectively referred to here as the “Sites”). In the Policy, we explain the types of information we collect, including personally identifiable information (“PII”), and how we use, share and store that information and protect the privacy of PII. For purposes of this Policy, PII about you means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your household.

We may change the terms of the Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the amended policy on the Sites.

2. How do we collect your PII?

YOLO collects PII about you when you actively provide it to us, such as when you create an account, purchase our product, sign up to receive communications from us, respond to a survey we are conducting, or post a review of our products on the Sites. We also may collect PII about you from other sources, such as our business partners; the Internet, including social media websites; the press or other print media; and other organisations or individuals as permitted under applicable law.
Listed below are the types of PII that we may have collected about you within the past 12 months. Some of these types of information may not be PII, depending on other information about you to which we have access. Each type of information listed below is PII only if the information identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your household.

Identifiers such as: your name, email address, shipping address, email address, billing information, account password, or other similar identifiers.

Customer Records information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, and records of your transactions through the Sites.

Commercial information, such as records of products you have purchased or considered purchasing, and records of your consuming histories or tendencies.

Internet or other similar network activity, such as browsing history, online search history, information on your interaction with our Sites or an advertisement. This may include hardware and browser information of your computer or other online device.

Geolocation data, such as the physical location of the device you use to connect with us online.

Sensory data, such as audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, including a video you might post on our Sites as part of a product review

Personal characteristics that are related to classifications that may legally protect you against discrimination, such as marital status, age and gender.

3. Our business purposes for collecting PII

We may use the PII we collect from you for a variety of purposes permitted by law, including:

To fulfil your purchase orders;

To establish your account(s);

To provide you with information about our products and services, including order-tracking information and promotional information;

To maintain subscription programs and giveaway, loyalty, and rewards programs;

4. How we may share PII

We may share the PII we collect with our service providers, whom we engage to assist us with technology support, operational support and other forms of assistance, and whom we bind by contract to protect the confidentiality and security of the PII we share with them. This includes Shopify (https://www.shopify.com/), which powers our Site and has access to the information collected through the Sites.

5. Information we collect automatically online

When you visit our Sites, we will collect the following information automatically:

Technical information, including browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.

Information about your visit, your clickstream to, through and from the Sites (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

We may obtain this information via cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies.

We also use Shopify’s “Audiences” tool (https://www.shopify.com/audiences) to provide more tailored ads. You can opt out of having your purchasing history included by contacting us at hello@yolonu.com, and we will manually opt you out.

You may block cookies using your browser settings, but this may limit access to some features. More info: www.allaboutcookies.org. By using the Sites, you agree to the use of non-disabled cookies. Our Sites currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

6. Data retention

We retain your PII, including purchase transaction data, for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which we collect it. We implement reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative security measures.
All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS standards.

7. Updates to your PII

If you would like to update PII that you have provided to us, you may contact us through one of the means listed in the “How to Contact Us” section below.

8. Site use limitations and international data transfers

Our Sites are not intended for children under age 13. If we discover that we have collected PII from a child under age 13, we will delete it.

Our Sites are operated in the United States. By using the Sites, you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S.
If your transaction involves a third-party provider (such as a U.S.-based payment gateway), your PII may be subject to U.S. law, including the Patriot Act. We do not actively invite users from outside the U.S.

9. Links to other websites

Our Sites may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend you review their privacy policies.

10. California residents privacy rights

A. Right to know
California residents may request to know what PII we’ve collected, why, and with whom we’ve shared it (excluding service providers).
You may submit a Categories Request or a Specific Pieces Request.

B. Right to request deletion
You may request deletion of your PII (excluding “Personal Customer Information”) unless we have a legal basis to retain it. Verification may be required.

C. How to submit a request
To request access or deletion, email hello@yolonu.com.
You may submit a request on your own behalf or authorize an agent. Provide a signed declaration with your and your agent’s contact info to confirm authorization.
We verify identity before fulfilling any requests. We aim to respond within 45 days. If more time is needed, we will notify you.
